The purpose of the scholarship program is to assist an Internal Revenue Service employee and/or Other Qualified Applicant to obtain educational and career objectives through formal education at a post-secondary educational institution.

Anyone may apply and is eligible except:

  • Members of the HIRE National Scholarship Committee
  • HIRE National Board members
  • Immediate family members of the HIRE National Scholarship Committee and the HIRE National Board
