How to Identify and Mitigate Risks in Project Management
Most projects carry a level of risk which needs to be mitigated or accepted. Learn how to identify risks and mitigate them early on before it significantly impacts the project timeline, and before the project inherits technical debt. During this instructional and interactive workshop participants will learn critical steps to help them identify potential risks early and will learn how to identify ways to mitigate those risks to keep projects on schedule.
Learn How to Effectively Facilitate Meetings
Meeting Facilitation is the conscious act of guiding the meeting process so it stays on course, ensure everyone participates, and to ensure participants reach mutually agreed-upon meeting goals. In this instructional workshop participants will learn techniques to successfully facilitate meetings (e.g., team, project, working sessions, etc.). The participants will interact with the instructors and other workshop participants through active discussion to enhance their current skillets to help them understand how to effectively facilitate future meetings.

Conducting an effective job interview is critical to ensure candidates have the right skill sets needed for the position. Instructors will provide an interactive environment where participants can ask questions and discuss past experiences and best practices while providing tips to make an interview more successful to ensure the very best candidate is selected for a vacant position.

The Importance of Exceeding Your Customer's Expectations


Business Results are critical because they serve as measures of how successful an organization is among its stakeholders. Before an organization can measure success it needs to meet or exceed the expectations of its customers. Participants will interact with the instructors to learn tips on how to identify and relate to the expectations of their customers and how to exceed those expectations.

A job interview is a formal meeting where someone is asking questions to become more familiar with the candidate's skills, qualities and characteristics to determine if the candidate is suitable for the vacant position. Instructors will provide an interactive environment where participants can ask questions and discuss best practices while providing tips to help participants formulate responses to clearly showcase their skills and qualities to an interview panel.
Understanding the Roles and Responsibilities of Various Critical Business Positions
All organizations have Business Owners, Program/Project Managers, Executive Champions, etc. All of these roles have different responsibilities and sometimes different visions. Instructors will provide an interactive environment to help participants understand the differences between critical roles and the importance of working together to successfully lead a team to accomplish the overall goals and objectives of a project.

Communication and Team Building: Learn to Use Communication Techniques to Improve Team Relations to Reach Common Goals
Effective communication serves a common purpose between team members and across multiple teams to reach common goals. Instructors will provide an interactive environment to offer techniques that can help participants have open and frequent communication at all levels (e.g., within a group, leadership levels, across groups and stakeholders) to help them meet their organizational and/or group goals and expectations.

Learn to Navigate Your Career Path

Employees are more likely to stay with a company when a well-defined career path is in place. Employees are motivated to grow within a company when there is a well-understood career path. Instructors will provide an interactive learning environment along with a question and answer session to help participants identify career goals which would help them reach a realistic career path.

How to Handle Unrealistic Expectations
Leaders with unrealistic expectations are a key cause of stress for employees which can lead to lower morale, lower productivity, and resource turnover. Instructors will provide participants with an interactive environment where participants can ask questions while also learning proven techniques to help participants overcome unrealistic expectations while finding ways to become successful.
Five Best Practices of Effective Leadership
The transition from a front-line employee (e.g., customer service representative, Revenue Officer, Revenue Agent, etc.) to a leadership position can be tricky. Instructors will provide participants with an interactive atmosphere to help them learn critical techniques to transition from an operational position to a more strategic position.

Learn How to Overcome the Long-term Effect of Doing More with Less Resources

Learn how to handle the human impact of a reduced workforce while the workload continues to increase causing a long term effect. Instructors will provide an interactive learning environment to learn tips to help participants overcome work burnout and get re-energized while finding a way to help obtain work-life balance.

Diversity: A Focus on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity
Cultural diversity is important because our country, workplaces, and schools continue to increase year after year and consist of various cultural, racial, and ethnic groups. Participants will interact with instructors to get a better understanding of the benefits of having a diversified society, and how participants can help their organizations overcome the challenges many of these groups face with diversity and inclusion.

Coaching to Improve an Employee's Performance

Performance coaching can help identify an employee's growth, as well as help plan and develop new skills. Using coaching skills, supervisors can evaluate and address the developmental needs of their employees. In this instructional workshop participants will learn techniques to help coach their employees to strengthen and build their current skills while improving their current performance.  Participants will interact with the instructors through the Q&A process to enhance their understanding and improve their current skillsets.

Learn How to Build Trust in the Workplace

Trust is one of the most important characteristics needed to be successful within a team or with stakeholders in order to be productive and successful. Instructors will provide a question and answer interactive environment between all participants to identify tips and best practices to help overcome any trust gaps between team(s), stakeholders, managers, etc.
